Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
· You are a member or recent member of FCAS

· Administer your membership of FCAS
· You ceased being a member of FCAS within the past year
We may pass this information to service providers as part of administering your membership such as Mailchimp. When we do this they will be acting as data processors under our instruction and we will remain the data controller.

It is in the legitimate interest of FCAS to hold your personal data to make you aware of information we believe may be important or useful to you such as information about FCAS and its events, gardening hints, warnings about pests or plant diseases spotted locally, current pricing for any trading shed run on the allotment site or other offers FCAS may have negotiated for members.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep your personal data identified in types of personal information we collect while you are a member of FCAS and up to a year after you cease to be a member.
We will then dispose your information by deleting your records from our systems. We will carry out a cull of our records at least annually to ensure that this is done

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
